Delivery to BFPO addresses
We offer delivery to BFPO addresses on all of our delivery services.
All BFPO addresses must be entered into the fields in our online order form in a specific format, as shown below, ensuring that the BFPO number is entered into the postcode field:
Full name: Service Number, Rank, Name
Address line 1: Company
Address line 2: Blank
Postcode: BFPO ### (eg: BFPO 123)
Country: United Kingdom
Please note that your tracking will only update as far as your BFPO office. Once your parcel has been delivered to the BFPO office, you'll need to contact the BFPO for any further delivery updates.
Standard Next Day Delivery - Yodel
This is our standard next day service. Order before 2pm Monday - Friday or 2pm Sunday for delivery next day. Unlike other services, if you order on a Friday your parcel will be delivered on a Saturday. Deliveries take place up until 8pm. No deliveries take place on a Sunday or Bank holiday.
If a mobile number is provided you will receive a text message from the courier confirming that your parcel is out for delivery, and also when it is delivered. This will also be confirmed by email. You will also receive a tracking number to track your parcel online. This mobile number will not be used for anything other than to ensure your parcel reaches you smoothly.
Note: An additional 24 hours will be added to all deliveries to Isle of Wight - Next Day Delivery is not an option.
Premium Next Day Delivery - DPD
This is our premium next day service. Order before 2pm Monday - Thursday or 2pm Sunday for delivery next day. No deliveries take place on a Weekend or Bank holiday.
If you supply a mobile number with your order, you will receive a text message from the courier confirming your 1hr delivery window. You will also receive an email confirming this. There will be the option to change the delivery day or leave the parcel with a neighbour, if you are unavailable.
This option now features the new 'Follow My Parcel' service. A link will be provided on the text from the courier which gives you detailed tracking of your parcel. This brand new service allows you to actively follow your parcel on board the delivery vehicle. It will show you where the driver is, which delivery he is on currently and where you are in the queue. Then when the driver is near, you will be given a 15 minute delivery window, to allow you to plan your delivery much more closely.
If you are unavailable to receive your delivery there is the option to deliver to a neighbour. If you choose this option you can select a specific neighbour to deliver to. If this is not an option you can also have the parcel delivered on another day, more convenient to you.
To get all of these benefits, choose Premium Next Day delivery at checkout and make sure to include a mobile phone number. This mobile number will not be used for anything other than to ensure your parcel reaches you smoothly.
