7 Ingredients to Baking Heaven with Nutriseed

Our coconut and cacao nib macaroons contain 7 ingredients and are packed full of flavour and nutrition:
- Raw cacao nibs
- Raw coconut oil
- Vanilla powder
- Coconut flour
- Coconut sugar
- Himalayan rock salt
- Agave syrup
This recipe is a really great one to get the kids involved as it’s very easy, you can get your hands involved to shape the macaroons and you can whip it up very quickly, here’s how:
All you need is:
(Use organic/natural real food ingredients where possible)
Makes around 12-14 macaroons
Prep time: 5 minutes
Cooking time: 10-15 minutes
Total time: 20-25 minutes
Ingredients:
5 tablespoons of organic virgin coconut oil, melted
2 tablespoon of raw cacao nibs
½ teaspoon of vanilla powder
200g of coconut flour
2 tablespoons of coconut sugar
¼ teaspoon of Himalayan Rock salt, crushed
2 tablespoons of agave syrup
Method:
Step 1:
Preheat your oven to 180° C or gas mark 4 and grease your baking sheet with some melted coconut oil, set aside.
Step 2:
In a medium mixing bowl add in all of your dry ingredients and mix well.
Add in your agave syrup and cooled and melted virgin coconut oil and mix well with a wooden spoon.
Step 3:
Using your hands, mould the coconut macaroons into small balls, use the palms of your hands to create an even shape.
Place on your greased baking sheet and bake for 10-15 minutes or until golden brown. Allow to cool completely before attempting to take them off the baking tray; these nutritional goodies can be kept in an airtight container for up to three days.
